The pattern is called Ivy Trellis but I like to call it X's & O's because some of the knitted stitches cross like an X and followed by a "hole" or O. The yarn is light cream color. It comes from an alpaca named Duke. Duke is a friend's alpaca that we helped shear. He has very soft yarn. Irma knitted this scarf. The scarf measures 5" by 56" (not including fringe). The knitting technique used is called Entrelac. The scarf looks like is has been woven but is a continous knit. The yarn is part wool.
